While every project is unique, here’s the general flow of how we work with you to create the right PV system for your home:
Initial Call:
We start with a conversation about your energy objectives and an assessment of your home’s current usage. This helps us understand your needs and identify the solar solutions that will work best for you.
Site Visit:
We prefer to come take a look first hand at your structure, orientation, and existing electrical system. This helps us make sure we have all the facts to inform our system design and costing.
Building the Model [complimentary]:
Using advanced solar modeling software and satellite imagery, we create a digital model of your home. This allows us to accurately assess your roof’s size, slope, and shape, ensuring your system is designed for the perfect fit. For new construction projects, we often work directly from plan sets.
Obstruction & Shade Assessment [complimentary]:
We use detailed satellite imaging and LIDAR technology to identify any obstructions—like chimneys, vents, pipes, or nearby trees—that could block sunlight. This ensures we choose the best panel placement for maximum energy production.
Custom PV System Design:
With the information gathered, we design a solar system tailored to your home and energy needs. We factor in system size, available technology, and your long-term goals to create a setup that delivers reliable, optimized performance.
Presentation of Options – Review & Selection:
At this stage, we present a solar designs that matches your property and energy goals. We’ll walk you through system sizes, features, and capabilities to ensure you clearly understand your options. This step is all about giving you the knowledge you need to make a confident, informed decision.
Project Agreement:
With the design finalized, we move into a formal agreement. Here, we confirm the system size, components, and project requirements. This agreement ensures everyone is aligned before installation begins.
Project Administrative Setup:
We handle the behind-the-scenes details so you don’t have to. From electrical permitting and BC Hydro coordination to grid interconnection, our team manages the entire process.
Our team walks you through your system so you understand how it works and how to monitor its performance. We too have access to your systems performance and are available to help answer any questions you may have regarding your system’s performance.
We also offer an installation warranty for 25 years as outlined within our project agreement. And, we will ensure our customers understand the terms and conditions associated with any manufacturer’s warranty.
